My name server, helmer.yanson.org, died a few
days ago. Or more accurately it just refused to boot
properly. Which, of course, is pretty much the same
thing. Helmer was an old Sun Ultrasparc (red dot), which I
found in the electronic garbage heap at KTH (my old
university). It was quite a good machine (64bit architecture),
considering it was from the mid-nineties.

Anyway, I decided to not try to get it up again. Instead I
intend to replace it with a normal x86 computer. A little more
boring, but a heck of a lot easier to find replacement
parts... I havent really decided what to call the new name
server, we'll see.
