Windows Vista

--

Ok, so I saw today that Microsoft has finally given
Project Longhorn a real name. The new Windows will be
called... *drumroll*...

Windows Vista

Ok. Its supposed to roll out sometime in 2006. Whats new
with Vista? Im not really an expert here, since I never really
use Wintendo unless I want to play games. And I hardly ever
play games so... well. Anyway. So what was new? Well,
lots. But what normal users like you and I will notice is two
things:

Ugh. What makes me sick is not really Micro$ofts products, and
the way they fuck over the public over and over and
over again, but that the public comes back for
more. Its like they've been brainwashed.

Oh well. Im not going to lose any sleep over this. In any
case, Im looking forward to one feature of Windows Vista-
apparently they have added a revolutionary way to interacting
with the computer- a shell prompt that deserves the name. Its
about time. The one MS has dragged along all those years in
all of their products are really quite a sad excuse for a
shell. But this new shell is supposed to be Turing complete,
and if this is the case (and if it is done well) it will make
my work as a remote administrator much easier.

Anyway. Here are some anagrams:

I like the first one, its quite funny. But the second one
makes me smile. Who is Cowman Woods? I imagine him to be a
country bumpkin, a little on the slow side, with absolutely no
knowledge of computers. It's his first visit to
civilization. And you know what? This guy is the perfect
customer for Microsoft. In MS's eyes, he is the ideal
citizen. Asks no uncomfortable questions, just does as he is
told. Buys what he is told to buy.

I guess the sad thing is that this is true for most
computer users.
