Its really not his fault. With a single event, the women's
movement in Japan has lost another symbolic victory. After
all, he's just a tiny baby, completely ignorant of the
complexities of Japanese politics.

I really dont like the whole idea behind the institution of
Constitutional Monarchy anyway, but it would have been damn
cool to have a female Head of State in Japan sometime in the
future. Now that little Hisahito is cooing and pooing
in the arms of his parents, Im getting the feeling that we
won't be seeing equal primogeiture for some time yet.
